Group Booking Terms and Conditions

Please read the Terms and Conditions below carefully. For a group booking quotation and any related queries, please email us at group@malindoair.com

1. Group Size


  1. Minimum group size is 10 passengers and above.

2. Airfares Quotation


  1. Fare quotation is based on seat availability upon request and applicable for three (3) working days only.
  2. Re-quotation is applicable for one (1) working day only.
  3. Air fare and booking class may vary upon confirmation.
  4. Fare quoted inclusive of base fare and taxes.

Baggage Allowances

  1. Economy cabin (OD only) : 25kg except Dhaka - 35kg
  2. Business cabin (OD only) : 40kg
  3. All ATR flights: 15kg

Note : Those flights operated by Batik Air (Malaysia) 20kg on Economy, and 30kg on Business cabin.


Seat Selection

  1. Group seat selection is free of charge except for selected seats, e.g. cool seats where a fee will be applicable.

3. Applicable Routing


  1. Re-routing is not permitted for group booking.

4. Ticketing / Name list


  1. Name list must be submitted latest 14 days before departure.
  2. Ticketing 10 days before departure.

5. Penalties / Changes


Name Change
  1. Before Ticketing : Permitted
  2. After Ticketing :
    • More than 48 hours : Two(2) passengers name change is allowed without penalty. Subsequent change is allowed with penalty.
                   - Domestic Flight     : MYR100 per passenger
                   - International Flight : MYR150 per passenger
    • Less than 48 hours : Name change is not permitted.

Date Change
  1. Before 45 days departure allowed to change date with penalty and fare difference
    - Domestic Flight : MYR100 per passenger
    - International Flight : MYR200 per passenger
  2. Less than 45 days date change are not allowed.

6. Cancellation


  1. Before 45 days departure, cancellation allowed up to 20% without any charges.
    Note : In the event cancellation more than 20%, full deposit paid will be forfeited for each passenger released.
  2. Between 45 days to 21 days, cancellation allowed up to 20% with full deposit forfeited for each passenger.
    Note : In the event cancellation more than 20%, full payment will be forfeited for each passenger released.
  3. Below 21 days, no cancellation allowed. 100% Materialization rate applied.
    Note : In the event if there is cancellation of seats, full payment will be forfeited for each passenger released.
  4. Cancellation within 24 hours to flight departures is considered a NO-SHOW (non- refundable).

*If passenger holding more than 1 PNR with different fare, seats are allowed to release in lower fare PNR only.


7. Payment Information

  1. To be paid within 3 days (72 hours) upon request of group fare.
  2. Seat will be secured once deposit is fully paid.
  3. Travelling date within 1 month, full payment is required upon acceptance of fare quoted in order to secure the seats.
Full Payment
  1. Must be completed 21 days before departure.
  2. Taxes may vary at point of ticketing.

Note : Group tickets are non-refundable.

Payment Mode
  1. Cash / Cheque Deposit or
  2. Credit Card or
  3. GIRO

Note :
- Cheque deposit is NOT accepted if departure date is within 14 days.
- The bank in slip should be scanned and email to group@malindoair.com

8.Clause

  1. For peak dates/blackout dates or special events where a group takes a significant proportion of the aircraft capacity.
  2. Batik Air may stipulate a high deposit requirements or more restrictive payment and ticketing deadline.
  3. Flight reschedule/retimed by Batikair ;
    • Refund is permitted in the event the flight is rescheduled later in excess of 2 hours or rescheduled earlier in excess of 30 minutes of the scheduled departure.
    • Batikair will offer an additional 1x free change to another flight of their choice, at no extra charge.
    • All the rebooking must be done before 72hrs from the original dates.
    • New travel date must be within 6 months of the original date of travel.
    • Passenger may select any flight excluding the peak dates/blackout dates or special events.
  4. Blackout dates cover all school holidays and public holidays.
  5. Failure to comply with any of terms and conditions will result in immediate cancellation of the bookings.


9. Operation Hours

Monday to Friday (9.00am - 6.00pm)
Weekend and Public holidays - closed


REMARKS: Batik Air reserves the right to amend or revise the terms & conditions as it deems fit.
