What is Malindo Air’s In-Flight Wi-Fi service?
Answer :
The Wi-Fi service allows passengers to access the Internet for e-mail, web browsing, and social media. It is not designed for streaming video or video chat apps.

What device does a passenger need to use Malindo Wi-Fi?
Answer :
Passengers need a Wi-Fi enabled device such as a laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

When can passengers connect to Malindo Wi-Fi?
Answer :
The system will be activated upon reaching 20,000 feet and the cabin crew will announce when it is safe to use electronic devices. Nevertheless, devices must be switched off during take-off and landing.

Will the connection time stop when passengers log out ?
Answer :
Unfortunately no, it doesn‘t. Even if the passenger decides to log o before he or she exhausts the time, the countdown continues until it reaches the allowed time limit.

Can Wi-Fi be used for all Malindo Air destinations?
Answer :
No, this service is only available on selected ights.

How secure is the network?
Answer :
We have implemented a number of measures to reduce the risk to users. This is an open network, but it should be possible for people to gain unauthorized access to devices. We recommend that our passengers have up to date rewalls and antivirus software installed.

What if the passengers are having problems with their Malindo Wi-Fi connection?
Answer :
There are a couple of reasons for interruption of the WiFi connection.
• Longer than normal switching the signal between 2 satellites. Re-login should be possible after a few minutes.
• Bad weather in the air or on the ground can In uence reception. Re-long should be possible when the weather improves.
• Maintenance on a satellite or ground station, which is communicated to Malindo Air in advance.

Yes, can be used, but 1 device at a point of time
