Kings Park

Kings Park is one of the largest inner-city parks in the world with a mixture of grassed parkland, botanical gardens and natural forests on Mount Eliza with two thirds of the grounds conserved as native woodlands. It has panoramic views of Swan River and Darling Range, and is home to a variety of wildflowers and bird species. At the heart of the park is the War Memorial, homage to all soldiers that died in service to the country. There are guided tours around the park, providing interesting facts about the Aboriginal history.

And on dry land, visitors can meet the cutest mini marsupial, found only in Western Australia, the world famous quokka, as well as many unique plant and animal species.
