Discover Bangkok
One of the liveliest cities in South East Asia, Bangkok attracts more visitors than most and it is not hard to understand the reason behind it. Nicknamed the city that never sleeps, this is a city of extremes with so much to do. Temples, historical monuments, parks, shopping malls and floating markets are bound to capture the tourist's eye. Another highlight of Bangkok is the wide selection of local food fare served from humble roadside stalls to expensive rooftop restaurants.

Wat Arun (The Temple of Dawn)
Wat Arun is also known as the Temple of Dawn and it is absolutely stunning at sunset, particularly when lit up at night. Given the beauty of its architecture and the fine craftsmanship behind it, it does not come as a surprise that Wat Arun is considered by many as one of the most beautiful temples in Thailand.

Floating Market
A popular destination for both locals and tourists, the Floating Market is routinely crowded with hundreds of vendors and customers floating in their small rowing boats selling and buying agricultural products and local food, which are mostly brought from their own nearby orchards. Be surrounded by colourful, fresh produces of the day and enjoy the picturesque view of Thailand's traditional trade.

Chao Phraya River & Waterways Riverside
As one of the most scenic areas, this riverside reflects a constantly changing scene day and night: water-taxis and heavily laden rice barges chugging upstream, set against a backdrop of glittering temples and luxury hotels. The areas from Wat Arun to Phra Sumeru Fortress are home to some of the oldest settlements in Bangkok and set a fascinating backdrop of stilt houses bordering the complex waterways.

Chatuchak Weekend Market
At a time only popular among wholesalers and traders, Chatuchak Weekend Market has since claimed its status as a must visit for tourists. Its sheer size and diverse collections of merchandise in the form of 8,000 market stalls will bring any seasoned shoppers to their knees. On a typical weekend, more than 200,000 visitors come here to sift through the goods on offer.
