Thiruvananthapuram , also known as Trivandrum, is the capital city of the Indian state of Kerala. It is the largest and the most populous city in Kerala and the fifth largest urban agglomeration in Kerala. It is located on the west coast of India near the extreme south of the mainland. Referred to by Mahatma Gandhi as the "evergreen city of India", the city is characterised by its undulating terrain of low coastal hills and busy commercial alleys. The city with a population of 957,730 inhabitants is the largest in Kerala.

Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple

Padmanabhaswamy temple is built in Dravidian style of architecture associated with the temples located in the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu, featuring high walls and a 16th-century Gopuram. While the Moolasthanam of the temple is the Ananthapuram Temple in Kasargod, architecturally to some extent, the temple is a replica of the Adikesava Perumal temple located in Kanyakumari District. It is the richest Hindu temple in the world.

Agastya Mala

(Also known as Agathiyar Malai or Agasthyakoodam) is a 1,868-metre (6,129 ft) tall peak within Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary in the Western Ghats of South India in Trivandrum and Tirunelveli Districts of South India. The mountain lies on the border between the Indian states of Kerala (in Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram district) and Tamil Nadu (in Kanyakumari district, Tirunelveli district). The perennial Thamirabarani River originates from the eastern side of this hill and flows into the Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu.

Poovar Backwater Cruise

Poovar is a small coastal village in the Trivandrum district of Kerala state, South India. This village is almost at the southern tip of Trivandrum and there is only one last village. Pozhiyoor which mark the end of kerala. This village has a beautiful beach and backwater which attracts tourists. There are also some good tourist resorts. Unspoiled and amazingly unexplored, Poovar is a rare location find in Southern Kerala by the most tranquil backwaters and opening out to the Arabian sea and a dream golden sand beach. Kovalam Beach

Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. It has been a favourite haunt of tourists, especially Europeans, since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing.The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse. Sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmes and catamaran cruising are some of them. The tropical sun acts so fast that one can see the faint blush of coppery tan on the skin in a matter of minutes.
