Destined for Dubai

1. Contest commence on 25 September 2023, and concludes on 18 October 2023.
2. Contest open to Malaysian residents aged 18 years & above at the time of entry.
3. Participants must have a valid Instagram account that are open to public (private accounts are not eligible)
4. Multiple entries are welcomed, however each entry must be unique (duplicated entries will be disqualified)
5. Winner will be selected based on creativity, originality, and adherence to the theme.
6. 4 winners will be selected, and each winner will be awarded two (2) Economy Class round-trip tickets to Dubai (DBX). (Airport tax & surcaharges are excluded, and will be borne by the winner)
7. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest, in whole or in part, if fraud, technical failures, or any other factors beyond the organiser's control impair the integrity of the Contest. The Contest is void where prohibited by law.

1. Who is the sponsor of this campaign?
   • The prizes are sponsored by Batik Air’s “Destined for Dubai" campaign.
2. Who is eligible to participate in the “Destined for Dubai" campaign?
   • Entry to the Contest is free of charge and the Contest is open to Participants who are eighteen (18) years old and above on the date of entry and residing in Malaysia. Employees, agents, representatives, and immediate family members of Batik Air, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, and promotion agencies are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
3. What are the prizes?
   • There will be a total of 4 prizes. For each prize, there will be TWO (2) Economy Class round-trip tickets from Kuala Lumpur to Dubai, excluding taxes and surcharges.
4. When is the campaign period?
   • The campaign will start on 25 September 2023 at 12:00 (Malaysia Time) and end on 18 October 2023 at 23:59 (Malaysia Time). The Organiser reserves the right to amend or extend the Contest's duration at any time as it deems fit without prior notice and/or liability to any participant (“Participants”).
5. How do I participate in the "Destined for Dubai" campaign?
   • To participate in the Contest, participants must:
     1. Follow Batik Air's official Instagram account, @malindoair.
     2. Create a caption of a maximum of 100 words, explaining why they desire to explore Dubai. Within the same caption, participants must tag one travel-loving friend whom they'd love to explore Dubai with.
     3. Repost Batik Air's contest shout-out post on their Instagram profile page and include the hashtags #IFlyBatikAir and #BatikAir2Dubai. Participants must ensure that their Instagram profile is set to "public" for visibility.
6. How will I receive the results of the campaign?
   • Subject to the Contest’s terms and conditions as specified herein (“Terms and Conditions”), four (4) lucky Participants who strictly follow the Contest Requirements and Contest Mechanism will be selected as the Winners of this Contest (Winners”). The Winners will be announced via Batik Air’s social media platforms by 25 October 2023 (“Winner Announcement Date”). There shall be four (4) Winners in this campaign. For purposes of clarity, each Winner will be awarded two (2) complimentary return flights from Kuala Lumpur to Dubai (“Prize”). Winners will be responsible for all taxes and surcharges applicable for the ticket.
7. How can I redeem my prize if I am a winner?
   • The redemption of the Prize is subject to the following conditions:
     1. The Winner will receive a confirmation notice of the Prize which will incorporate the Terms and Conditions application for the redemption of the Prize.
     2. In the event the Winner is unreachable after seven (3) days from the time of the first attempt to communicate by the Organiser to contact the Winner, the Organiser shall reserve the right at its sole discretion to select and award another Winner with or without any further notice and/or assigning any reasons.
     3. The redemption is subject to seat availability.
8. Will the ticket redemption expire?
   • The Redemption and Travel Period shall be up to a maximum of 6 months upon receiving the award letter ("Redemption and Travel Period"). The Organiser is not liable for any non-utilisation of the Prize. The Prize is not refundable nor redeemable for cash or for travel in any other form.
9. Do I have to pay any taxes on my Prize ticket?
   • Winners will be responsible for all taxes and surcharges applicable to the tickets.
10. Can I change the destination?
    • No, each Prize which is for TWO (2) return tickets, must be redeemed together on Batik Air-operated flights excluding code-share flights.
11. Can the Winner transfer the Prize ticket to someone else?
    • No, the Winner must travel together with a companion. The Winner is required to provide the flight dates for the Organiser to make the flight booking reservations. The tickets are non-transferable.
12. Are there any conditions attached to the Prize?
    • The Prize will be subject to Batik Air’s “General Terms and Conditions” and “General Conditions of Carriage” and the Terms and Conditions applicable for the redemption of the ticket.
