Kings Park

Finding an immense native park studded with trees that live for 2000 years, a suspended bridge and dense wildflower carpets in the heart of a capital city is as unexpected as it is engaging. Kings Park – full of soaring native trees, birds, small mammals and Aboriginal heritage – is bigger than New York’s Central Park making it one of the world’s largest and prettiest urban parklands. Situated in the heart of the CBD, the lofty lookout views over the city centre and sparkling Swan River, makes Kings Park the perfect place to get your bearings. Free guided walks depart throughout the day and offer insights to the native flora and fauna that call the park home.
