SEPANG, 8 SEP 2015 – Malindo Air, Malaysia’s hybrid airline today officiated the launch of the Executive Lounge, located at the main terminal building of KLIA2, together with the Deputy Minister of Transport, Datuk Abdul Aziz Kaprawi. This marks KLIA2’s first dedicated airline lounge and the first purpose-built lounge by Malindo Air.
The Malindo Air Executive Lounge is open from 6am to 10pm daily to cater to the airline’s flying guests. While the airline’s Business Class passengers, Malindo Miles Platinum cardholders and Malindo Corporate Gold members receive complimentary access to the lounge, the entrance fee for Economy Class passengers is RM65 for adults and RM30 for children for a 3-hour access.
Visitors to the Executive Lounge enjoy:
- Comfortable lounge area to rest and refresh
- Free WiFi access
- Free usage of personal computers plus fax and photocopy services
- Light refreshments served buffet style
- Shower facilities
During his welcome address, the CEO of Malindo Air, Chandran Rama Muthy said, “Today marks another significant milestone for our company as we proudly introduce the Malindo Air Executive Lounge, which is also the very first airline lounge at KLIA2. It is a privilege that we, at Malindo Air, will hold dear to our hearts as our company grows from strength to strength since our humble beginnings in March 2013.”
“Simultaneous with the growth of our airline fleet this year, our route network will see new expansion as well to further points of the region. We are currently exploring new destinations and we have set plans in the pipeline to operate to cities in southern China, Australia, Jeddah, the Philippines and Japan, amongst others.”
