Petaling Jaya, 28 Sept 2018 – The multiple awards winning airline, Malindo Air, has retained its recognition as an APEX 2019 Four Star Major Regional Airline, at the prestigious APEX Official Airline Ratings™. The airline previously received the APEX 2018 recognition in 2017 previously,

Apart from being the winner of APEX 2018/2019 Four Star Major Regional Airline Recognition, the five-year-old airline has previously bagged several awards including Malaysia Best Employer Brand Awards 2018, CAPA’s 2016 Asia Pacific Regional Airline of the Year, New Comer of the Year, Australia 2016/17 by Expedia.com., TOP Recognition - Malaysia SME® Preferred Airline Partner, Airline of the Year (Passenger) at the KLIA Awards 2014 and Top Performing Airline 2015 by Travelport.

The APEX Official Airline Ratings™ were created based on passenger feedback gathered through APEX’s partnership with TripIt®, the world’s highest-rated travel-organizing app. Using a five-star scale, more than one million flights were rated by passengers across nearly 500 airlines from around the world between 1 July 2017 and 30 June 2018.

The APEX Official Airline Ratings™ were independently certified by a professional external auditing company and used to establish the airline’s Official Airline Ratings™, as well as for the APEX Passenger Choice Awards.
