MALINDO AIR DATA BREACH UPDATE

Petaling Jaya, 19th September 2019 – In light of the recent data leak from a third party vendor, Malindo Air's cloud service provider, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Singapore has confirmed that all Malindo Air's servers are fully secured with no further vulnerabilities. Confirmation has also been given to verify that no payment details have been compromised.

Independent forensic and data consultants have been engaged to review overall data security infrastructure with particular emphasis on passenger data protection across all platforms.

Further remedial measures of notifying the police, financial institutions and the relevant authorities throughout its network have also been put in place.

Malindo Air has reiterated to its passengers to be wary of any suspicious or unsolicited calls and/or emails seeking verification of personal data. Passengers are advised to direct any further queries to customer_care@malindoair.com for any further clarification or assistance.
