KUALA LUMPUR, 1 FEB 2021 – As the economic and social impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to become more acute, in our continued efforts to help facilitate travel and provide convenience to passengers in air travel, Malindo Air is now offering very attractive Economy Class Super Saver 15 kg free baggage allowance on all routes for tickets purchased at promo fares which usually do not include baggage allowance effective now until 15 February 2021.
Non-promo economy class fares will continue to include free baggage allowance at 20 kg for Economy Class Value and 30 kg for Economy Class Flexi/Shuttle.

Chief Executive Officer Captain Mushafiz Bin Mustafa Bakri said, “It has been over a year since the COVID-19 outbreak began, but the aviation industry continues to be severely impacted with year-end traffic data showing a continued decline in the passenger demand, although cargo’s performance seems much better.”
Mushafiz added that airlines continue to suffer from extremely weak travel demand as recovery in air passenger volumes stalled again due to the newly implemented MCO at the beginning of the year.
