We look forward to welcoming you on board and would like to share on the additional safety measures taken as we move into resumption of flights. Be rest assured and familiarise yourself with these steps for a smooth and safe journey ahead.


We look forward to welcoming you on board. We understand the concern given the current situation and would like to share on some key questions you many have in mind for your flight.

1. How clean is the aircraft? Is it safe to fly?

Batik Air conducts daily deep cleaning and disinfects the cabin according to regulatory compliance. Our aircraft is fitted with HEPA filters capable of removing ninety nine percent (99%) of contaminants (such as virus and bacteria) from recirculated air. Additionally, our crew are trained to restrict movement on board and will identify and isolate any passengers deemed unwell during the flight.

2. What do I need to prepare?

Before booking your flight, be sure to secure approval to fly from your local authorities and know of travel requirements (quarantine) / restrictions imposed at your destination point. Ensure you are healthy, and prepare for added safety and hygiene in mind - face masks, hand sanitisers/frequent hand washing and social distancing.

3. What can I expect? At the airport, in-flight and upon arriving?

Multiple temperature checks throughout the check-in process up to arrival. Social distancing practiced throughout on ground in queues and sitting areas as well as in-flight according to requirement. Additionally, you may be required to fill a declaration form at your point of arrival. With that in mind, you are advised to arrive early at the departing airport and make allowance upon arrival as well. Only essential stores will be operating at the airport terminals. On ground staff and cabin crew will be wearing additional safety gear to uphold the utmost level of hygiene throughout conducting their service.
