    Claim for Travel Insurance:

    1) Flight cancelled by Batik Air:

    i. This is only applicable when Batik Air cancels the flights prior to the start of customer’s journey.

    ii. Passenger is required to submit the Certificate of Insurance for travel insurance verification at Batik Air Support team [email protected]. Batik Air Support team will process the travel insurance premium refund to the passenger.

    iii. If the outbound flight has taken off and the return flights are cancelled by Malindo, this will fall under normal GEGM claim procedures whereby GEGM will process the claim once received. Refer to the section 2 below for the claim guidelines.

    2) Other claims request on travel insurance:

    • For the full list of the required documentation, please refer to our ‘Document Checklist for Travel Claim’ at our corporate website.

    • Notify and submit a duly completed and signed Travel Claim form together with the supporting documents via the options listed below.

    1. Online submission (Please click here) or;
    a. Select “Travel Claim” as Policy Class field.
    b. Then enter your Master Policy Number or Certificate of Insurance number for “Policy No.”field.
    c. Enter the other required claim details as highlighted in red.
    d. Upload any required or related documents.
    e. Submit

    3) For endorsement or changes on passenger details.
    • This is only allowed before the start of customer’s travel journey.
    • This include changes made on passenger’s name, date of birth, travel dates and departure location.
    • Passenger may email GEGM Customer Service [email protected] the travel date changes to confirm whether there is any change in premium when there are change in the duration of travel. The Standard travel duration are 1-15 days, 16-30 days and 31 to 45 days.

     – For example, if your travel duration is 7 days, you will be categorised under the 1st travel duration period of 1-15 days. There will be no change in premium travel duration if your travel duration do does not exceed a total of 15 days.

    Steps to follow:
    1. Passenger are required to complete the changes/updates on the ticket reservation details.
    2.Email the changes to GEGM Customer Service at [email protected] for updating of Certificate of Insurance.
