IMPORTANT NOTE : Please note that Malindo Air ticket is further subjected to the following Terms and Conditions of carriage, which is deemed to be incorporated herein. Passengers are also advised to take note of the Fare Rules applicable for the tickets purchased as they vary by type of tickets and by point of sale.

1. Once "Online Check-in" is completed, a passenger is not allowed to cancel or change their travel dates or request for refund except where the flight is cancelled by Malindo Air.
2. No-show passengers are those who do not board their respective booked and ticketed flights. In such cases, only applicable refundable Taxes, Fees and Charges (TFCs) will be refunded back to original form of payment. This does not include Carrier Imposed Charges.
3. Other Voluntary Refund requests will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of the ticket and applies for both full or partial refund requests.
4. Note that Economy Super Saver fares are non-refundable but passengers may request the refund of Taxes, Fees and Charges (TFCs) to the original form of payment except for Carrier Imposed Charges.
5. For Economy Value, Economy Flexi, Business Promo and Business Flexi, tickets are refundable with Cancellation Fee and the Most Restrictive Fare Rules apply.
6. Refund requests on medical grounds, requires an official medical certificate/ doctor's letter which must be issued from a registered clinic or hospital, which should state that the passenger is unfit to travel on the said date or for a specific duration. Malindo Air will review such applications and will consider if refund approvals would be granted. This is also subject to the submission of all relevant documents.
7. Refund requests on grounds of bereavement, require an official death certificate. Passengers claiming refunds on such grounds are required to show proof of relationship to the deceased. The refund application will be reviewed by Malindo Air to establish what refund terms apply and passengers will be notified of the decision.
8. Refund requests for bookings made through travel agents / third-party providers, will have to be submitted to the issuing travel agent / third-party provider and is subject to travel agent's/third-party provider’s Terms and Conditions.
9. Refund requests for duplicate bookings must be submitted with proof of double payments for Malindo's verification. After verification, Malindo Air shall refund the booking with the lower value. Duplicate bookings must be reported on the same day or 24 hours from the time of the bookings.

11. Ancillaries purchased together with a flight would not be refunded. For the flight changes within 12 hours of booking, change fee will be waived however ancillaries purchased is non-transferable and non-refundable.

12. Refund Request must be submitted online: http://www.malindoair.com/Refund-Request.
13. Refunds processing will be between 30 to 60 days from the day of submission and refunds will be made to the original Form Of Payment.
14. A processing fee is applicable for all refunds submission.
15. Schedule change: Malindo Air reserves the right to cancel or change the planned departure, schedule, route, aircraft or stopping places of any flight for which fares have been paid, at any time and from time to time, for any reason, without notice to any Passengers affected thereby and, in connection therewith, the Carrier shall not be liable to any Passenger in respect of such cancellation or change, whether or not resulting from an Event of Force Majeure; which includes but not limited to bad weather and Acts of God; provided that, the Carrier may and reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to provide any Passengers affected by such cancellation or change with:
16. 1. Rerouting the Passenger to the destination shown on the Passenger's Ticket by the Carrier's own services; or
    2. To otherwise refund to such Passenger, an amount which shall not be greater than the fare paid by that Passenger in respect of that flight.
    3. The refund policy due to flight schedule changes (Involuntary Refund request) made by Malindo Air is subject to the following:
       • Flight retimed at least 30 minutes earlier or delayed more than 2 hours: Passengers can request for a full refund.
       • Flight delayed less than 2 hours: Passengers not entitled to refund. (schedule changes between 30 minutes and under 2 hours, passengers are allowed one-time change without Change Fee for the affected destination).
       • For flight cancellation or route suspension: Passenger can request for full refund or one-time change without Change Fee within the same country.
